Methodology
Where the prices come from
Every price is read from the platform's own pricing page, by setting its list-size slider or dropdown to each size we show, in both monthly and yearly billing. Each figure is checked against the page state it came from.
Matching a plan to your list
- We price eight list sizes: 500, 1,000, 2,500, 5,000, 10,000, 25,000, 50,000 and 100,000. Where a platform has no stop at exactly that size, we use its next tier up and show which.
- Plans that cap monthly sending below your frequency are skipped. Caps are stated as a multiple of your list, for example ten emails per subscriber.
- We show each platform's cheapest paid plan that fits. Free plans are listed separately.
Not in the calculator
- GetResponse showed us prices in euros only, so its US dollar prices couldn't be verified.
- Brevo prices by emails sent rather than list size, which doesn't map cleanly onto this comparison.
How this site earns
Some links are affiliate links: platforms such as Kit, MailerLite and beehiiv may pay us a share of what you spend if you sign up through them. They're labelled "Affiliate link". Rankings are sorted by price alone, and platforms that pay us nothing, such as Mailchimp and Klaviyo, are included on equal terms.
How the site is made
Prices are collected and checked by automated scripts and the pages are written with AI assistance. Every figure is computed by code from the cited data.
